PennDOT news and traffic alerts in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York counties are available at PennDOT District 8. PennDOT offers traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras through its 511PA service, which is available as a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website. Travelers are advised to be alert for these operations, obey work zone signs, and use caution when driving through the work zones. There will be a right lane restriction on northbound Route 11/15 while the work is being carried out.
The inspection is scheduled for Thursday, May 18, and weather permitting, will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will conduct an inspection of the northbound Route 11/15 bridge spanning Shermans Creek just south of Duncannon in Penn Township, Perry County.
